prayer

okay, a quick prayer request: as the date draws nearer, i'm realizing that i'm a little nervous about flying by myself. i mean, i've never done it before, and i will be making a switch in miami (with a seven hour delay!) , not to mention eventually landing in an airport/city/country that is not at all safe for 19-yr-old american girls by themselves! pray specifically that the person picking me up at the airport and myself will be able to find eachother quickly.......i know that God will protect me, i have no need to worry; i just want to make sure everything goes smoothly!

Well, everyone, I finally have a tentative leaving date, so long as all goes well: September 4th! I was a bit delayed for lack of funding, but at the last minute, God provided everything I needed. Thanks so much for all your support and prayers, believe me, I will appreciate and covet your prayers more than you can imagine while I'm there! Now all I have to do is finish packing, and leave the rest open for the Lord to work with. Thanks again for everything, and I'll repost ya'll from the other side!!! (I'll let you know if the date changes at all)

Hello all, this is Allison..........just putting up my first posting, checking it out, seeing how this all works.

For starters, I thought I'd put up a picture of the school where I'll be working. Yes, this is the ANIJA campus, where I will, Lord willing, be spending my days very soon.
